The Aldin's

Let the "edits" begin. I just finished my wedding from May 9th. Megan and Fred got married at The Heritage Southbury it was a beautiful day and I had a great couple and family to spend the day with. I think Megan never stopped smiling from the minute I saw her. She was great, and to let you know Megan, it's the first time I ever heard my bride say "spanx" and ironically I have heard it know every weekend after.. For all you grooms out there this is one thing I wouldn't ask what your wife is. Somethings are better not known! Thank-you again Megan and Fred for such a beautiful Saturday.. Enjoy your photos!

This was the best two hours of my day :-)

Last month I received a call last minute to shoot a wedding for that upcoming weekend. I inquired why they were booking so late and I was informed that only 10 people were attending. It was more like a small family ceremony and a nice dinner for their family. However when it got closer to the date the bride decided that she wanted some professional pictures taken after all.

Ann (the bride) had some concern with getting enough photos of her dad. He recently had become ill and having him at her wedding meant a great deal to her and she wanted to remember him being there. After the images were posted this is a quick email response I received from Ann. (It's messages like this that make you realize how important our jobs are!)

I just got word tonight that my dad's tumor in his lung has grown again. He'll have to start radiation daily. I was just thinking how during the time of my wedding my dad was enjoying a bit of health that he hadn't had a few months prior while he was undergoing chemo. I'm so happy that my family was at my wedding and in good health at the time. Now, no matter what happens to my dad in the future my family will have these pictures. They will be more special to us now for this reason. I wanted to share that with you because you do more than just capture images in your work-you capture moments. Life changes so often and so quickly...thanks so much Pam for being there that day to capture one of the most beautiful moments of my life.

Here are some of my favorite images of her sons and a slideshow to follow, this was the best two hours of my day :-)

If you build it???

Hello My Friends!!

I am asking for some insight or inspiration from my fellow photographers?? I was not the official photographer for this pre-game photo session (thank-god..LOL) however just a spectator at the "official photo shoot" for all of the Cheshire seniors before prom on Saturday.

Rob's daughter was absolutely stunning and I wish I could have captured her beauty the way that I know my fellow colleagues would have. I would have like to knock her (and my) socks off with the images that I am sure most of you would have gotten...

From not having a "portrait" business I have built my focus on weddings/mitzvah's only, and I feel overwhelmed when I have something like a photo session. (Other then the bride and groom)

Can anyone share a photo or a story that reaches out to me other then the "event" realm.... I am attaching a few photo's. What I feel to be traditional and I am hoping to see or hear some ways of "spicing" it up. Rob's daughter is the "gorgeous" one in the purple dress!!

Thank-you my friends!

Pam

And is it me or are Cheshire High School Seniors made up of the most beautiful women ever??
